I could see those storms from where I am and they are epic, drove up to Halifax county again actually and got some nice out flow but never did storm .
Somewhat surprised by convection overnight.
Shouldn’t be this is the year where nothing is surprising at this point anymore, but no joke later today looks better for areas around there and maybe something for @SD

That is bad! I feel your pain! The tropical system will take care of you though. I'll even screw that up being this far west. I bet I won't get a drop! Rarely does an Atlantic system get the precip shield here.

Had a very intense and long lasting thunderstorm last night around midnight .

Based on radar estimates I picked up 1.3 inches last night. Part of that is in July and part August . Any monthly radar estimate maps? Interested in what NE Wake got, has to be like 10-12 inches !
