Tornado near Fairfield AL, SW of Birmingham !
What about over in Alabama?
Hit 90 barely one or twice this month, maybe 3 or 4 times at the most. Certainly going to be a cooler June than normal fortunately!50s at the end of June sure would feel nice. Btw I still havent hit 90 yet and it looks like i wont until at least July.
nice blow up spin in the Caribbean, plus the wave east of the Windward islands looks interesting![]()
Yeah I figure that, it just looked interesting. I'm just bored lol. That is associated with a TUTT in the Caribbean. Not gonna get anything out of it.
Ok, I normally sit quiet and ingest all the info here, but being the natural S.A. that I am I can't help myself. But don't we record lows everynight???????

Certainly right about that. Couldn't help but notice that in West Virginia their mountains could get below freezing per the latest GFS. Below freezing in summer in the mountains this far east is not normal at all. And to think the upper 50s could last for a few days in areas as lows...Some spots in the southeast could record lows next week ...... that's right, record lows

Two different things, you are using the word record as in take down information. Storm is using record in the sense of the lowest temp recorded for the date.
- Completely respect Storm and his input and yes the wonderful English verbage can be fun in fun I was just pointing out that the phrasing used by storm was lacking a word to set off the "Recording" aspect. I understood what he was saying, it would have read better, if it were stated as "some places in the south could "see" or "have" record lows" instead of "some places in the south could record lows"
- It was all in fun and in absolutely no way meant to be a serious. Storm is a southern neighbor and I respect his input year around. Tons of knowledge!!!
- Much respect to everyone on the forum that participates, stay safe everyone!

Well, I'm gonna raise a fuss
I'm gonna raise a holler
'Bout workin' all summer
Just to try to earn a dollar
Well, I went to the boss man
Tried to get a break
But the boss said 'No dice, son,
You gotta work late'
Sometimes I wonder what am I gonna do
'Cause there ain't no cure for the summertime blues

Summer to me means highs in the 80s, low humidity, and a refreshing breeze. Summer is NOT 95 degrees with high humidity. Well, maybe it is but I don't want it to be.I've had 6.29" of rain this week, 8.71" for June thus far. My pool temp is 77 degrees ( guess I will swim next summer). I know there are people who hate the heat on here, but I hope July provides some 90+ degree temps and dry weather. I want summer to be summer.
Seems like this year anyway, y'all never quit ...Go away!!!!!![]()

In Alabama it is. Maybe not everyday, but a lot of them. With the rain and coolness we've had, I'll take all the 90+ temps I can to make up for what I haven't gotten this month.Summer to me means highs in the 80s, low humidity, and a refreshing breeze. Summer is NOT 95 degrees with high humidity. Well, maybe it is but I don't want it to be.
If I did that, it would be palmetto bug inundation ...5 whole days without any rain is going to be nice. Dewpoints in the 50s will be even nicer ! I will have the windows open the next few days to let the cool summer air in !
