Yep Coosa County. Rain gauge shows 0.78" for the day and 44" on the year. I know one day it glitched, so take two inches off and I've had 42 inches so far. That is astounding considering the drought last year.
 
If that tropical system heads this way, we will have major problems with flooding and tree damage with just TS force gusts. Pouring this morning with the obvious low pressure over central AL not moving. Over an inch of rain already.

Yeah that's a neat feature . Clearly it's just sitting with little movement . Honestly the last thing we need is rain from a tropical system
