Pattern Jarring January

CPC data does not agree with you on any of those months you list. Now you seem to be making this personal and I'm not playing that game, so this will be the end of what had been a great discussion.

To go back on what I was saying earlier before you tried to suggest that this was getting personal (lol) it's pretty easy to see 2009-10 and 2010-11 were a blip on the screen and we've returned back to what was observed in the early-mid 1990s...

OK, that's enough. 1300 has ended his part of the discussion. Walk away.

There is definitely something fishy out there possibly for parts of the SE midway through next week. Hopefully it's not the same ole story of it being suppressed.

GFS and CMC both leaving behind energy in the gulf after the whiff on the 16th and both bring a sw out of the pacific. Only difference is the GFS has the wave entering Washington state with virtually no digging and the Canadian has it entering Northern California diving into Texas and grabbing our energy in the gulf. Something to watch

Well GFS is completely suppressing the system as it moves east while Euro has it too warm? OK maybe they will meet in the middle and bring a lot of us a nice storm!

I’m not seeing this warm period that some are saying is coming. Other then a few days this week I see nothing but cold temps on the models. In fact the euro is even colder then the GFS in the long range. I’m no where near as weather smart as most on this board so maybe someone with more knowledge then me can explain why they think we are flipping to warm for more then a few days anytime soon.

Edit: Maybe some of the cold would be based on how much if any snowpack is laid down in the south?
