Looks like the band set up along and west of the Broad River. This is ASS.
I’m putting the midlands on chicken feather watch. HRRR hinting at some pockets of heavy snow as this thing pulls out.
Gonna be some fireworks in SC when this thing finally converges.

What parts of the midlands?
I can’t get outside to look closer but it looks like from the window by my desk that we’re starting to see some slushy flakes mix in with the drizzle in Indian Trail.

Had moderate snow for about 30 minutes.
Don't do that!
Definitely getting sleet to mix in with the rain.

Moderate snow again! it's a car topper so far! Anxious to see where that deform band parks itself. 33.1 degrees

Precip is getting heavier, I'd say it's a sleet /rain mix but majority sleet.
If the HRRR thermal profiles are correct, I could see the Central Midlands getting a mix with heavier precipitation. The 3KM NAM is a bit warm for it, though. These things are hard to forecast, and it's not an optimal setup for this area overall. If you want to see wet flakes mixing in, hope that the precipitation comes down hard to allow it on the tail end.
