Wanted to go ahead and split this period out main monthly thread. There will probably be multiple waves in this time frame that have to be subdivided out into their own home but for now let's just discuss the full period here.

A final note this pattern is likely to be biased north and west and may be outside of the region. We don't need you to let us know that you are out in here please direct that to the complaining thread.

I’m not sure if I’m emotionally ready for Alabama to yet get another huge winter event. Just kill me now.

I’ve resigned myself to the fact I will have to move or chase to ever get the snow I want. Both are actually on the table right now.

I lived in southern Mitchell county for a while, near little Switzerland at about 3,200 feet. I thought it was a perfect spot because you get the upslope enhancement, still a good spot for CAD events being near the divide and got plenty of opportunities from NW flow.

Need a true dome of cold over us to force a favorable low track. Might have a shot at something like that if we can get high pressure to dominate the pattern first as long as a lakes low doesn’t pop up out of nowhere to cut off our feed which can always happen

What are the telleconnections looking like for this period? Or if someone can point me in the direction to find them myself that would be appreciated. I use to have it book marked but I can’t seem to find it
