44.2 with a dewpoint of 35.8, winds nne. Wedge is weak and can't hold the temp rise down. Interesting to see how far we rise. I'm guessing 54 to 56.
Normally with that, I’d be waiting for someone to starting talking about cooling the column but I don’t know if that concept applies here, wish it would mean sleet at onset.36/17 there is a lot of virga right now
The CAD hasn’t even built in yet, right?41/24.3we never do winter weather right. we can't even coax ourselves into a diabolical ice storm
I got flurries breaking through..watched them land on my jacket while getting gas for chainsaw!36/17 there is a lot of virga right now
Can confirm tiny flurries breking through here
I can see the tops of the trees moving here and the dewpoint has dropped, but the temp is the same. 44.4 and 33.8. The Tempest is 2 m off the ground but I'm on the south side of hill with a valley open to my east and west. Most of the higher winds are confined to the tree canopy, so the sensor under reports often.ENE wind is picking up here. Estimate 10-15 mph with gusts to 20mph. Now, that's how a wedge is supposed to work.
I don’t remember any modeling have snow near Asheville this earlyLet's get this going!
