dude....all in good fun. Seriously though got rained on at my tailgateFunny. She said it still hasn't rained there. Meanwhile, we had a good storm here at home.
If you had seen the chicks in 374 you would knowWhy the hell is 372 so special? And get to go home early??
Well, enjoy all the rain you got! You should also know by now, living where you do , the "cold" air arrival is always 12-24 hours slower than predicted, held up by the mountains! That's what always helps imps score big with winter storms! It looks like we have missed out on cooler temps and lower humidity. Dewpoints here still 70+ and temps going back to 90-93 today.
Nice! 91 here and shocker: dry!77 and cloudy with a NE wind and periods of drizzle

Dry was the forecast ......Nice! 91 here and shocker: dry!
I honestly don't know who Sam Hunt is? And why SD and Bricks wife were at the same concert?? Wasn't SD and Brick both at the beach at the same time a few weeks ago!???
Things that make you go hmmmmm?
We could be watching history. As amazing as it would be, Gainesville, FL, has a legitimate chance over the next 2 days to exceed in July the incredibly high amounts of rain it got in June, which was 16.86"! They are now nearing 15". What's extra amazing is that all of this rain in June and July fell without a TC nearby. Furthermore, the city had been in a very bad drought just prior to this! How about that as an example of moving from one extreme to the other!
Edit: I had put together this post without having seen the 0Z CMC's progged 8" of rainfall over the next 48 hours there! Now that's "crazy". Other 0Z models have a more sane 1-2". The 12Z CMC had 2.5" or so.
You wouldn't want to swim there! It appears that Gainesville is already up to 1.92" for today, which brings them up to 16.70" for July. According to Phil, that is a new record high for July there that follows the new record high that was just established in June! That makes it 33.64" at GNV just since June 1st and all without the aid of a nearby TC!!! I wonder how much water is currently at the bottom of Devil's Millhopper, a huge sinkhole there.

'skeeters ...Perhaps the Paynes Prairie basin will fill back up! I hear ya, Phil, about the trees. I think that is a region-wide issue this year.
you misspelled a word. damn ...If I hadn't just spent the day on a boat in Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Fl., eat some of the best pizza ever at Hellen Back Pizza, about to drink a cold one and get in the pool I'd totally be pissed I'm missing out on those cool temps back home. As it is right now I don't give a darn!
