On that note, any experts want to weigh in on the i20 corridor? Augusta area… seems like we’re flirting with cold rain vs freezing rain.
My gut says cold rain given we’re very nearly on the line right now and this system will trend NW with time…

What’s up with that warm blob over East Tennessee at the ground level, specifically Cocke County, Tennessee where I live? It’s centered literally over my house.

This is likely because you're tucked deep within the mountains and on the western side of the Apps, which blocks the very shallow low-level cold air from reaching you
