The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Northeastern Harnett County in central North Carolina...
South central Wake County in central North Carolina...
Central Johnston County in central North Carolina...

* Until 530 PM EDT

* At 504 PM EDT, a tornado was located over Angier, or 11 miles
northeast of Lillington, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Smithfield, Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, Angier, Selma, Four Oaks, Pine
Level, Coats Crossroads and Flowers.
 
Crazy storm in Wake County now. I'm stuck in traffic on Capital. Idiots can't drive.

they are fine. Thanks for asking. Mom manages an apartment complex she said all the trees are down, flags pulled off the flag pole, siding and gutters off the building, windows blown out of the apartments, cars moved in the parking lot
