Misc General Banter Thread

Is it possible the whole SE is about to get slammed surprisingly? Idk much but I know enough to know none of this adds up. Something must be missing

That man Brent is living right. Just last week he was talking about how he was having the warmest winter ever now he’s about to get nuked by a winter storm. Must be nice lol

This is turning into a complete clown show!!! The track of this biblical event is going to have Kentucky as ground zero!! But the good news is, NE GA won’t have the dangerous storm we’ve been fearing all week!!

I get it. 0% interested in freezing rain here, would rather just not have a storm at all
It’ll coats the Bermuda!! Protect it from the 1000 year cold that’s coming next week!
And if trends keep up, get a bag of pre-emergents from Pack!

I just can’t believe the Canadian is going to take this W. Rarely rarely happens

That's why I still hold out hope. The Canadian has never beem right about anything ever.

to be fair the opinion in here was probably too hype on Monday ish when it resembled other icy events at H5 and we were already getting bullseyes with snow. I’m sure I got too excited as well. But there is a difference between the perception of the event when you are a weather hobbyist who tracks hard and someone just watching their local news. If they were a responsible public facing Met they were messaging high uncertainty and good chance of “heavy wintry precip” without specifying type

I hope that if this goes down in flames they backtrack the WSW areas and airlines don't cancel flights into airports with clear runways. Forget tee times, I'm keeping my Monday a.m. flight to the tropics.

Now though it looks like it’s drying out and might end up a nuisance event even in my area north of charlotte. It will still build distrust in the eyes may folks unfortunately.
