So now we're worried about both Temps AND Precip. This is just great. I'm ready for this storm to be over so we can move on.
Are we MORE upset if this thing is suppressed completely off the coast like GRAF/Euro say... or if we personally miss in our backyards? ha... idk... for the majority of the board, seems like we'd be less upset by a complete whifff. hahaWe punt.
I wish that was the case, but even when the short range were initially too far south with the moisture, the European consistently had the snow/dry line right around Atlanta even days ahead of the event. Not sure when we'll know for sure about this oneAt what point do the models start getting a better idea on how much overrunning will occur? Last year places near Atlanta didn't show anything until the last minute.
Betting against the euro is like betting against Prime Jordan with the ball on the last possession and down a score.
This is so annoying …. Another Wasted 48hrs of meaningless Hype for a flurry or two and yet another weak positive tilted POS I see. And what’s worse the EURO truthers are gonna be even more insufferable now and in the future

Still feel solid for ATL
lol at this point they have been replaced with the ai truthers. it's 72 hours out and believeing the ai's have it all nailed down i think is a bit much. I must have missed the past year or so where the ai's and the ai's only nailed every forecast. This is so annoying …. The Euro didn't show anything for Atlanta at this lead time last year. Larry already posted the maps.I wish that was the case, but even when the short range were initially too far south with the moisture, the European consistently had the snow/dry line right around Atlanta even days ahead of the event. lmao...this one is toast..we get a few flakes...Mitch gets rain. On to the next one according to bouncy...if there is a next oneEverybody relax. We haven’t even gotten into the deform band phase of discussion yet![]()
Fingers crossed.I truly feel the same way for bham south. So difficult to pin down the overrunning moisture that will likely trend further north. This one isn’t over for us quite yet.
Where are these maps posted? I must be remembering time stamps wrongThe Euro didn't show anything for Atlanta at this lead time last year. Larry already posted the maps.

yes we had to rely on local mets info through NWS. Lots of surprises and lots of let downs. Only thing that has improved with technology are the lack of surprises...they are rare anymore. More letdowns due to hype and click bait in todays world. Is this what it was like in '70s-early 2000s, not having a single clue of what's going to happen only a couple days out?
Ha I do remember days in the 80’s where you’d go to school thinking it was going to be 38 and raining and being sent home early cause it was 28 and rainingIs this what it was like in '70s-early 2000s, not having a single clue of what's going to happen only a couple days out?
How much we betting? lol
All inHow much we betting? lol
i hope you are right
Not sure since I tried searching and couldn't locate the post. The point is no models should be taken verbatim however the trends aren't where we would want them yet.Where are these maps posted? I must be remembering time stamps wrong
We're currently in the Negotiating phase. Acceptance is right around the corner
I am still in the "denial"camp. I believe the GFS from last night will be closer to reality. We're currently in the Negotiating phase. Acceptance is right around the corner.
People already jumping off the cliff and the Low hasn't even developed yetonce that forms and gets sampled then we will know
I like itAll in

…. ESPECIALLY NE NC and VA Todewater Until you move we are screwed...im convinced. Columbia (armpit) to the coast will soon surpass our yearly snow average. Elevation means nothing anymore. Until we get a CAD setup with a true gulf tap we get skunked for measurable snowI told yall I was scared
