We saw some doughnuts made from purple sweet potatoes that looked real good. I had a milk bread cream bun. It was split open and filled with sweet cream and a strawberry. So good. The item on the right was a Nutella filled doughnut.

Well, I decided randomly that I’d do Cookout for the first time since I was 18-20 today.
Their shakes are still amazing, but I absolutely would say that the hot food is just above average at least imo.
But I guess it was better than how I felt previously, as I was an outright NO to their hot food 10ish years ago.

Went to In-N-out Burger while out west and was pleasantly surprised. Burgers were good, fries were good, shake was good and the service was excellent.
Cookout used to be way better. So did Taco Bell.
So did a lot of things lol

There's a place in Wrightsville Beach named Poes tavern. Best burgers in the world.

Nothing beats In-N-Out. I’d kill a puppy for one of those burgers right now.

I hear you. I like Whataburger a lot but In-n-Out is special.
I’ve been to the one in Sullivans Island in SC and the burger with the remoulade and fried shrimp on it is fantastic
man I don’t know. I had a very mid experience at the one in Santa Monica. Whataburger has a bigger menu too.
Have you ever tried the Whataburger biscuits? I haven’t tried their breakfast yet.
The Whataburger jalapeno biscuits are the best.
