I think I'll always have two residences in both locations. I have family in Boone, but also family here as well. But, as soon as the last kid is out of the house, me and the wife will be spending a lot more time up there. If it's going to snow, I'm up there. If the Triangle is going to be hot, I'm up there.

The webcam at Sanford Mall at App is fun to watch when it is snowing, too. Usually a lot of students there sledding. I would love to have a place there and at the OBX.

It seems like if you want to see snow these days, you'll need to go up in elevation. Land/lots away from Boone are still reasonable. Go into Ashe or Allegany County.

 
Put that 25lb wildebeest of a carcass (aka turkey) into the fridge out of the freezer this morning. God only knows the amount of steroids they injected into it.
They want be half that size next year after ole RFK jr starts work in January lol.

It's all we can hope for at this range! Been a long time since we've had those players execute and take us all the way to the endzone, but with looks like we're getting now eventually it's going to happen.
