Misc Cold Season Complaining

These broadcast Mets having to walk everything back is almost comical. They live and die by each model run in an attempt to be the first one to release information…hilarious!

It appears we really fumbled a golden opportunity here. We’ll be thinking about this one for a long time i’m afraid. Especially seeing that we had an I-20/I-85 bomb locked in for 3 straight days lays week. EPS can keep showing the 2” mean over my house but it’s not even exciting anymore. This might be a new low if we can’t pull a rabbit out of the hat. Which we won’t. Because we never do

The track has pretty much been established now and no there’s not gonna be much if any NW trend from here on out. If you are above I20 in SC your out of this one. Congrats Louisiana.
Honestly it’s been locked into a Deep South solution for a couple days now, we just didn’t want to accept it. I was hopeful for ole 🇨🇦 but it was false hope. Still waiting on Webber to chime in and explain how this thing trends NW.

I think people lose track of how far out things are because these storms can be tracked for so long now. The storm might not come back, but we are still an eternity away when it comes to those last minute NW trends from oblivion that have brought some of our best hits.

There just might not end up being anything strong enough in the carolinas to trend northwest

CFS will save the day

New Orleans and Mobile likely will have more snow this decade to this point than Columbia/Augusta after Tuesday is truly some some deflating stuff. This may even top Feb 2021 in terms of disappointment. Atleast 2021, the Snow was mostly inland of the Gulf Coast and we had to deal with SE ridging. This is just another level of disappointment. We simply can't score regardless if there's SE ridge or not. Hopefully after this week, we can move on to spring and forget about this winter.

My hope meter is on 0

It’s pathetic. I played with my kids in the freezing rain last week when it was supposed to snow 2-4”. It’s gross. I can’t even give my kids the same memories I had here growing up because it doesn’t even ------- snow anymore. This is a dying hobby in this region I’m afraid.

Absolute pain. Shafted from the Nw, shafted to the SE, shafted to the NE back in Dec. said this many times but that mountain snow is gonna be the biggest I’ve seen. Just doesn’t hit the same traveling for it. But to see a legit snow again I’m gonna have to go back up there again it seems

Nah the vibes are pitiful- the Euro is gonna suck everyone back in here in 45 minutes I’d bet
The Euro likely going cave to other suppressed models. The NAM is the only other model showing any significant for areas around I-20 and east of the Apps and NAM trends to be overamped in the long range. I think this system is basically finished for areas north of US 84 and east of I-65

I think the real pain is how much below normal temps January has been and we still aren't going to have anything to show for it

Man, if the Euro caves, it’s going to be a major kick in the gut.

The thing that’s crazy here is you’d think snow in the Bayou would at least translate deep in SC, and yet it really isn’t because of the energy transfer crap.

I mean I love traveling for a big snow event but it doesn’t hit the same. It’s all we’ve got now though. Chasing it

Heck they probably have more than me here in N AL. In the last 10 years.

Is it too late to pinch off the southern part of the vort and sharpen it and let the northern stream slide off ? Genuine question
We need some chemtrails seeding the skies over the deep south with some metamucil
