Misc Cold Season Complaining

How is it over? The latest runs of the Euro/Rgem/CMC/CMCE/EPS/SREF all give you 1 to 3 inches of snow. That's basically over?
I doubt we see anything but flurrries at most. I’m not really interested in an inch myself. It’s just an inconvenience. I want it to either shut my work down or don’t bother. But that’s just my preference lol. If we get 3 inches that would be impressive though.

This is why I pay attention to rburrel even if I'm not confident in my chances.... Due to his positivity. Some of you should try it. It's refreshing.
I understand you should try to be positive but many, many years now with a lack of decent snow events has driven some into the pessimistic corner. I would go as far as to say, I believe for most in the Carolinas it is the new normal. Sad for those who like snow, but show me something different.

Neighbors moved here from Maine. They thought NC was a snowless state. They were very surprised when I told them about our former winters and winter storms.

Welp it’s about over for i85. Maybe flurries if dry air can be overcome. What a freakin clown world we live in.
At this rate if trends don't reverse sooner rather than later, it may be over for the I-20 corridor in SC/East GA and really everyone else for that matter, except for areas near the Gulf Coast. We took a lot of steps backwards today with model trends.

Well, on to fab Feb. Spring is coming. This is crazy, and has made me appreciate climate change. Scientists may be on to something there. It went from difficult to get good snow in the Carolinas to nearly impossible. Still cheering for you all along the gulf coast and coastal areas. May be you can squeeze out a few inches.

Getting rough out here in these streets. Some of us are trying to make chicken salad out of chicken crap. It sure looked like both cold and precip wouldn't be a problem a week ago. Definitely need some tweaks to get a widespread event like we had drawn up a few days ago. Still a little time, but I feel like our ceiling is being lowered.

Feb is a spring month in the southeast now. Only a very small chance for winter precip in Feb or March going forward.

I'm only pretty sure that I can't take anymore
Before you take a swing
I wonder what are we fightin' for
When I say out loud
I want to get out of this
I wonder is there anything
I'm going to miss

except the odd cold core low thing, but that isn't quality snow. I want the barely hear any water in the gutters kind. Which is why it hurts so bad seeing this thing so far south.

Win win
No snow means golf course will be open next weekend!
Last 2 inch blizzard shut us down for 4 days. A couple of spots on a few fairways still had ice today after the rain. Should all be gone tomorrow! Lfg

Side note but it’s a complaint so I’m gonna say it …. More annoying, the Seesaw Modeling ? Or the Son of a Gun that created Star Bit screws ? I’m putting a bed frame together and between these screws and this forum I’m about to toss it out the window and deal with my consequences from the wife
