Here is a link to their fall forecast, just in case other members want to check it out.Well Accuweather put out a fall forecast map and it has the whole SE colored dark green , wet , with flooding possible! I hope they are right for once!
Umm, fall is our dry season. The only time we ever have a wet fall is if the tropics are involved. Sept-Nov tend to be bone dry. Last fall was pretty dry also if i recall correctly.Well Accuweather put out a fall forecast map and it has the whole SE colored dark green , wet , with flooding possible! That map looks horrible for the rest of the US! Looking ahead, tons of rain should be coming. Here is a link to their fall forecast, just in case other members want to check it out.

If it's a fall like 2004, in regards to the tropics, like JB said, I would love that!! Drought index should be worrisome tomorrow !Umm, fall is our dry season. The snow would be limited to the upper plains/ Midwest, which is practically normal for that time of year up there it seems. As for here, it read that little cool downs are expected and the humidity will persist, though I don't put much stock into Accuweather's newer guy.Accuweather fall forecast seems to be pretty good to me. Wet periods, cold spells falling down in the middle of the country. They also said places will see snowfall as early as Oct/Nov with the fall chilly air.
Good luck with winters that start with snow around Halloween ...Accuweather fall forecast seems to be pretty good to me. Wet periods, cold spells falling down in the middle of the country. They also said places will see snowfall as early as Oct/Nov with the fall chilly air.

Signs of drought! Have lots of leaves falling off of trees around here, especially the water-hungry trees like river birch and sycamoresSome of the acorns were falling today from the oaks. Sign of an early fall? time will tell.

Yes, true, but we better be glad it's not like last summer into the fall with those wildfires.Signs of drought! Have lots of leaves falling off of trees around here, especially the water-hungry trees like river birch and sycamores
Come on over to the tropical board, you will see our newly invest 99L. Is what your talking here.Is the good ol' GFS sniffing a tropical feature that could spin up? Have to watch for development in the coming days.
Edit: CMC also has that tropical feature.
