Didn't notice yesterday, but it's bad here late this morning. Noticed it when I took a quick trip to look for the food truck at my work.
We need rain terribly. If the storms don't work out on the weekend, it'll be a 0" on the month.
Better pray the learning model is right or we're going to see a lot more fires. The Weeklies overnight we're trash.

Yeah not looking to good overall we need a couple months of 5-6" just to stop the drought from getting worse much less getting better.
Suprised yall havent had any marshes/swamps off to your east ( inner banks) get lit up yet. Any lightening rolls through Sat pm, might kick start. Those fires have to basically burn themselves out/ last for months
Per Raleigh , I'm riding to the poker table with 60% shot Sat pm and 50% shot Monday pm as of right now. Want be holding my breathe for those percentages to stay as is , come closer to annie up time.

Guy let’s be realistic here, rain will be something you tell your grandchildren about.
There is an even bigger fire in South Georgia in Clinch and Echols counties, as the Pineland Road fire has burned over 16,000 acres, and just 10% containment. Even up here in Atlanta, it definitely smells smokey today.

Burn ban started yesterday for Middle and South GA. I'm surprised it's not in effect in metro Atlanta too. 81ºF/39ºF here, RH% down in the low-mid 20s, and has been this dry for several days now...and no measureable rain since April 5.
It's bone dry and windy today really getting crunchy now.

This ain’t gonna cut it, but is damn sure better than what we’ve had recently
Went from 53 at 7am to 82 at 4pm here. Cooler temps nice while it lasted.. 
82, not terrible but plenty warm. creek as low as i've seen it in a bit

Lol I don't think anyone is going to believe when we get an actual outbreak at this point
