The wording on the forecast for Greenville for the next 4 days (today-Wed) is ridiculous! Chance for heavy rainfall almost day and night the whole time! Never seen a stretch like that!!!!

Yeah I’m a little bit suprised about how much sun I’ve seen this morning. GSP wasn’t overly impressed about the prospect of severe weather today outside of heavy rainfall, but they also were basing that on not seeing much sun this morning

While there could be a couple severe storms today, there’s way less dry air entrainment aloft today vs yesterday which should limit the microburst threat quite a bit, and mid level lapse rates are slowly going back to poop

I just saw that PDK (NE ATL area) had a high of 95 yesterday, which tied their hottest of the YTD. ATL hit 94, which was one cooler than their hottest so far. It is much cooler today.
