Im shocked at how little there is in Gatlinburg. Thought they’d be good for 6
Didn’t look like a whole lot on the cams I’ve seen. How much does Gatlinburg have? I know it’s supposed to still be snowing there

Dusting, but nothing like the HRRR, RAP, or SREF were showing for Birmingham. It’s another good example I’ve seen many times on frontal moisture systems and overdone model output. I usually cut those totals shown by 3/4.did anyone in the Birmingham metro receive measurable snow?
Nice little pop up maximum reflectivity just to my south .. bodes well for flakes to fall here in March during peak “heating”Looking good downstream

And below average snow thereAlmost mid march .. during peak heating .. snow ..after being 60 at 5am .. 2021-2022 winter was great View attachment 115555
I picked up 4 inches from the one storm in that localized heavy band .. missed RDU unfortunately but I’m average to slightly above on the season with the dusting/ quarter inch light events plus sleet and ice storm stuff .. more than I’ve seen in a while .. crazy we can have an impressive winter and be above normal .. at least we know it’s possibleAnd below average snow there
