For some reason, I haven't been able to access the site with my Chromebook since this afternoon.
Just "Page could not be loaded".
My iPhone is stable now, but MacBook Pro M1 no bueno.
Everything should be fine or will resolve itself quickly once everything gets repointed correctly
Weird. I even deleted cookies from today in Chrome. I downloaded Firefox just to see if it that browser would work. Nope.Hmmm... My Chromebook has had no issues. ?

Just a note on Twitter/X (whatever you want to call it these days), If you post something from Twitter, please use twitter.com instead of x.com. x.com does not embed at all (to my knowledge, it's not a site issue but a software issue, I think it has to do with Xenforo's embed system. It does not recognize x.com as Twitter yet).
The plugin we are using hasn't been updated in a long while. I'll get around to fixing it sometime, but right now things are a bit chaotic on the back-end of the site.
I'll help you get to it next week

Any idea why my advanced editing abilities are grayed out? I successfully added an image yesterday and THOUGHT I had posted it, but when I came back a few hours later the post was not showing. I tried to post again and that is when I noticed the grayed out issue. File attached

Whenever I press the back button, I get a black screen with a little invalid image icon in the middle.
It's some kind of bug trying to download something called "downloadfile.bin" it's hard to track down.
Seems to happen most likely on Android/chrome based browsing.

Copy the link. When you start your comment, paste the link into the media feature that is three icons to the right of the icon you use to insert an image. Let me know if that works for you.
With winter over, can we bring back the political thread? Just until hurricane season or something. I don’t find myself using this site like many others without some kind of fighting or drama

The forum software we are using will be implementing passkey as a key feature at some point, hopefully soon.
Actually it's already available, we just have to push the upgrade. It's a large software upgrade, and I need to make sure everything won't break when we do it.

That leaves me out then if it becomes mandatory. I'm not getting an expensive phone just to log in on 1 site.
Here is a link to a phone that can utilize a passkey --> $40 smart phone. You just need a phone that can run android version 9 or later if it becomes mandatory, which it wont.

I did not know you could get a phone that cheap. I may seriously consider getting this before too long.
