Dude, it's ok...that "other place" has like 8 members and I'm not sure the server isn't on Nintendo 64.It's amazing to live in the deep south and hear this negativity..I guess this is just a carolina's place?
I think we are a great forum , we have lots of Alabama posters as well. I don’t understand the complaining . They are just as represented in membership as Georgia and sc … they just don’t post as much . Now if someone was complaining from Mississippi I totally understand lolAbsolute garbage discussion on here about NC vs SE. The board exists due to regular posters analyzing the weather. If you guys want a broader discussion on other regions put in the work and don't go poof when the threat does. The regular posters do a great job at not being too imby with their posts
uh, yes they are...Ok I just looked at a map to make sure I’m right and Huntsville has almost the same exact latitude as Greenville-Spartanburg and is slightly north in latitude of Wilmington, and neither one of those are considered in the Deep South
Huntsville is the Mid-South IMO.uh, yes they are...
No way Pennsylvania is part of the mid-Atlantic
No way Pennsylvania is part of the mid-Atlantic
So Huntsville is in the TN Valley and not the South East as well.
These are all geographical terms at the end of the day not cultural or historic. So yes, Huntsville is tn valleySo Huntsville is in the TN Valley and not the South East as well.
Must be big elevation difference ?Zebulon is 25 miles east of RDU airport . RDU averages 5 inches of snow a year … the station here averages 3. Wilson 25 miles east of me averages like 2 inches.
So Huntsville is in the TN Valley and not the South East as well.
From a more sober perspective and looking at the idea of who is represented in southernwx I would have to say the Norfolk/Raleigh/Charlotte/Greenville-Spartanburg area comprises one snow area by itself. Mtns and southeastern SC/NC not really included
Fun times. This troll move from @Dad of Dad of Jax is the best since the Bob Gran in San Jose debacle. @Myfrotho704_ and @NoSnowATL remember
Feels like it was just yesterday….
Ya know, everyone says you are from Canada eyy? Doncha know eyy?Not this again

only if you're a bama fan I supposeReal question is why are there so many auburn fans in Raleigh ? Like a lot .

The same reason why there are a lot of Duke fans in Auburn.Real question is why are there so many auburn fans in Raleigh ? Like a lot .
It is a land grant school like nc state , but I have never met anyone who went to auburn. I’ve known lots of people who went to Alabama tho. It’s odd. They aren’t particularly good these days in football so I’d think the fans here have to have some ties.We have more than you’d assume over here as well. I do wonder if it’s people doing undergrad there and doing a grad program here.
Not really. Most of Wake County is around 300’ as far as I can recall. Elevations get up to 800 ft in Durham and Orange. It’s all about latitude .Must be big elevation difference ?
