You have to sign up and get chosen to be in the class through your county extension. Take a 16 week class I think it was, 1 night a week about 3-4 hours. Pass a test at the end, volunteer 40 hours a year at approved MG causes or events, and then keep 10 hours of continuing education plus 30 hours of volunteering from then on out, to be current

NC state is a land grant school therefore has the extension programs like Clemson . Bet you can do it through state as well!
