I got a better one. When our family business moved out here in 2006 and we got our first moderate severe forecast for tornadoes in April 2007, I convinced my dad we needed to shut the factory down for the day around 9am. The locals were like wth is going on? Temp never got above 60 and dews in low 50s and you can guess the outcome. Some moderate showers is all she wrote and I took the walk of shame the next day. Thats what happens when you live your first 26 years in San Diego which gets exactly zero interesting weather.I remember when I first joined Talkweather many moons ago I didn’t understand how prevalent fantasy storms were and I hyped up a few in a row to my parents. Fortunately, then March 2009 happened and I finally got one of my hyped fantasy storms to work out, but after that winter I largely stopped running my mouth. ?
