Misc 2020/21 Fall and Winter Whamby Thread

I got a better one. When our family business moved out here in 2006 and we got our first moderate severe forecast for tornadoes in April 2007, I convinced my dad we needed to shut the factory down for the day around 9am. The locals were like wth is going on? Temp never got above 60 and dews in low 50s and you can guess the outcome. Some moderate showers is all she wrote and I took the walk of shame the next day. Thats what happens when you live your first 26 years in San Diego which gets exactly zero interesting weather.

I am so jealous that you lived in San Diego. Perfect weather year round ! Maybe boring, but at least you can drive to the mountains and see snow. I bet summers there are glorious.
 
2021 weather goals

1. Tornados in zebulon . Gotta get my third !
2. Hurricane that tracks up I-40 as a cat 5 before stalling and dumping so much rain the dam on falls lake bursts . Destroying the entire town of wake forest
3. A massive 5 inch ice storm in December
4. Hit 100 15 times this summer
5. Break the record number of 90 degree days set in 2010. Let’s get over 100 this time
6. 30 inches of rain combined in June- august before the big September hurricane
7. 0 storms in concord
8. A massive board wide , eastern us wide blizzard with a foot of snow around Christmas before warming up to 80 degrees and severe weather on New Year’s Eve.
9. Not dropping below 20 this year and continuing the streak.

I cant believe I let myself get excited again. I've got to control myself until all 6+ inches are on the ground next time, whenever that is. This rain is even colder than Monday's. and what an enormous amount of qpf to waste at this temperature.

I’m super confused rn. One guy said it’s dumping snow and he is in Huntsville , your saying it sucks , another guy got snow. What’s happening lol!
