Unfortunately the March 11th surprise delivered only flurries for me. Do you ever travel up to the Portland / White House area during snow events out here? The highland rim really does much better with snow then Nashville and even places like Hendersonville that are only a 15-20 minute drive away but are at the bottom of the hills. When I lived in Hendersonville I can’t tell you how many times I’d leave work in Portland where it was snowing hard and had 1-2 inches of snow on the ground, only to get home to light flurries and no accumulation. I’m so glad I moved to White House in 2008 as elevation makes it more like living in central Kentucky.IKR... After the 2011-12 winter, I thought it couldn't get any worse, but it did, 2017 (save the March 11 surprise event). That winter, however didn't sting as bad as it should have given we were coming off a previous winter with an epic snowstorm (Jonas).
