Me too! The fact the EPS and GEFS both agree on some HLB is great. Still holding out hope for sometime after the 20th we get to a sustained cold pattern

Went back and looked last year...mSSW occurred on Feb 14th, we blowtorched through first week of March. But after that we had a very cold March/April. It was actually quite snowy for the MA/NE too. So took roughly 3 weeks.

Then just like Christmases worst nightmare, you see a pack of thong briefs, from your grandma! That’s what the next 2,5,13 days of runs are going to look like! :(
 
So Tuesday at midnight do we just start disregarding the regular GFS and only pay attention to FV3 or will the regular GFS no longer run leaving us only with FV3 ?
 
Well I will not miss you 2018 weather wise, multiple close calls winter weather wise( maybe 1in of snow total). No ice, no sleet, no hail. Only gift you gave me was 1000000 tons of rain. Welcome 2019 and I hope you treat me better! And maybe I should change my name to AllSnowATL since I’ve probably cursed my location with the name.

I believe the current GFS will continue to run until the 19th if I'm not mistaken, but once the full transition is complete and FV3 is not longer in beta (again I think around the 19th) then the FV3 will be our GFS.... not sure if the name will change or not but there will be no more old GFS
 
Obviously the wall was built at the wrong border.....

Because it does look great and unfortunately almost always is gone the next run..... it sucks but the truth hurts

I don't know, deep down I'm feeling we will have a period of blistering cold. That feeling is why Ive been busy stocking up firewood.

The truth is winter will probably spit in my face and stay warm. But atleast I'll be ready for the next JB special next fall.
 
Considering that I actually HATE ULLs, I find it funny that they're trolling everybody in what's basically been a spring like pattern that is tough to crack.
 
I feel like we’re gonna get to February and it’s gonna be so cold we’re begging for it to end ? I’m probably wrong but that’s my gut feeling
 
At this point I’m just hoping for a dry stretch. Yes Winter you got the best of me. Congratulations. I guess I will join the dark side too.
