Really Coby White is the only thing unc basketball has right now. Maye, Cam Johnson, Nassir Little, and the centers have provided nothing. Crazy, didnt realize joel berry and theo pinson made them look that much better.

last day of hurricane season! What a crazy season it was yet again... 2nd year in a row that will be talked about years from now

As of now I think this is a NC and TN storm, climo fits the path and temps, we Ga, AL and SC peeps will have to wait until mid Jan but I think the wait will be worth it. BUT I am still wishing for a clown map or 2.

You need to check out the 12z.

Should be about time for Shawn to wake up!

Do the forecasters in Canada even use the Canadian model? Is it any better for their region than it is for the US? It's a joke. The RGEM is a good model though.

Why does "when to start a thread" always conjure up debate? Lol.... we do this every year and starting a thread has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with whether a system verifies or not, if it dominates the discussion it deserves it own thread. Just my .02 now back to regular programming.

Superstition... Never step on the chalk line, never walk under and ladder and NEVER EVER EVER touch your sled before a winter storm is 2mins out.

When the canadian model actually picks out the right pattern (which it does from time to time, Dec 2017 was a good example here in NC) it tends to do pretty well w/ cold air damming, the obvious issue is the skill scores of the model are terrible and take away from any chance it had of making a good CAD forecast in the first place. I agree with you though, RGEM is definitely a good model in the short term and arguably way better!

To think several places in the SE were seeing 90 degree weather just last month and now we are tracking a potential winter storm lol.
