Lastly, may I conclude this very strange day by offering a sober thought ...

Care to weigh in on the 1300m vs WebberWeather heavyweight match? ;)
I just want Brick on the 2 fight night!
Brick the beefcake VS Tarheel the terrible! Book it

I can't find it right now, but the climate office analyzed snow day frequency and I think 1/30 may be the peak snow day frequency at RDU. Not 100% on that.
I can give you some of the actual numbers when I finish off the archive (which is a long ways off from now) but I smoothed the median day for RDU and it was about January 25 ish but I wouldnt be shocked if the day with the most storms is a little later. We get a lot more bang for our buck later in the year from what I've seen even going back a century or more ago, I just don't know exactly how much but I'll find out soon enough.

With all the recent ups and downs and so forth, here's a tune that hopefully resonates in part to someone, somewhere tonight ...
If this needs to be deleted - Mods - let me know and I will ...

We're in a bit of a weather lull. I'm sure the mods and admins are just grateful that the conversation has continued and site traffic is still moving right along

In case you're curious, I found 1/26-7, 2/10, and 3/2 to be dates of having most frequently been part of 6"+ events at rdu...each date was part of 3 different 6"+'s.
