Pretty good snow shower in South Forsyth near Alpharetta! Complete surprise and it’s awesome! A light dusting in grass!
People driving like roads are dry. Been all over the area this morning. Saw more wrecks today than the whole week. People flying down roads then come up on ice and snow and hit brakes

It really annoys me how Landrum/Campobello literally always jack pots on any event 100% of the time. Today included.

If we didn't have last week we'd be talking about this for days. Better week than some entire winters have been lately
they always used to get me an extra day off school growing up cuz all the sptbg co districts would act as one. if it makes you feel any better they don't appear to have any appreciable accumulation so far

That makes me feel worse b/c it looks like a dusting has started and radar looks like they're gonna get blasted over the next hour. They'll somehow find a way to get an inch from this. Those radar returns just keep getting brighter.

Been snowing in Rutherfordton going from flurries to mod snow since about 6:30 this morning. Radar just keeps it filling in here, nice dusting on the ground. Lee Side will surprise you ever now and again.
Is it just me or does that line of snow looking better and better on radar as it moves southeast?

Absolutely ripping right now. Grass has a dusting on it now.
Flurries have begun here in Spartanburg. 3rd wintry precip in 13 days. We're pretty much down to the sleet from the week before on the ground aside from plowed piles
Light sleet/graupel here just now. A few flurries are mixing in at times.

Believe this is at least 7th, maybe 8th separate time this winter, frozen precip has fallen. All but 1 has been snow, which is more astounding.

This band is showing over my house and has been but nothing is actually falling
Maybe that can hold together for down this way. My temp has dropped from 36 to 34
