Eh I would assume they're mostly secure. They had a well developed continuity government plan that was executed.
Unfortunately more US escalation is just going to invite more Iranian escalation as the post above says. Their moves have been extremely calculated from the outside looking in. US land based forces are being pushed further and further west increasingly concentrated in Israel. That's not a good situation either air defense stocks very low.
How many of them died at the beginning because they decided to meet? I'm not gonna assume they are very intelligent.
Nothing notable in tonight’s strikes. Just the same targets so far.

Yeah Iran is still a pretty big threat to the region especially considering we have been assured their military capabilities have been destroyed several times over now.
Moreover, the more we destroy non-military Iranian infrastructure, the fewer the # of Iranians who were initially supporting us/Israel efforts will remain that way. As my friend recently said, hitting infrastructure is treated by Iranian citizens as hitting them.
So far from what I’ve seen tonight’s “punishment strikes” I have heard no infrastructure hit
I wasn’t a fan politically mainly because of his 180 degree turns in both 2016 and at some point after 1/6/21 but also because he was too much of a war-hawk in general.
However, I’ve only just since his passing learned what Graham did for his sis when she was orphaned at just 13. For those who don’t know, he got the service to allow him to attend college near home and he became her legal guardian and later adopted her. Forget the politics. That’s clearly a great human being!
IRGC ain't responding either.

I think we will see some last minute negotiations to try to prevent all hell breaking loose in the Middle East again.
No nations' leadership expects a bolt from the blue attack when not engaged in hostilities. It still surprises me that occurred. Assassination of foreign political leadership has always been a no no in US doctrine.
It's become increasingly clear the current US administration drank too much of the kool aid and disregarded sound military advice. Iranian leadership are heavy handed theocrats who don't bat an eye at killing tens of thousands of their own people, but they're not stupid. There's a bizarre dichotomy to Iran in that their civil services are very much a meritocracy. The IRGC less so but the rank and file are disciplined and well trained.
There's so much institutional lag in the US from two decades of fighting insurgents. Going up against an adversary that can reach out and touch us hasn't occurred since Desert Shield/Desert Storm and the Iranians are a step above that in capability and doctrine.
It's eye opening getting peeks from media around the world. Looking at the US actions from the outside we increasingly look inept and even worse, a danger to the stability of the world. It's no wonder the Europeans are getting cozier to China.
The French surfacing a boomer off Newfoundland in 2025 was a message in response to US political leadership threatening EU territory along with signaling their resolve to protect their North American territory. Just feels like at some point our elected leadership is going to do something *really* stupid. That may not be a military action but something like a failed response to a domestic crisis causing the administration to seek a distraction. These things can have unintended consequences.
People living in the US have not experienced a time like this since the early to mid 1970s. Even then we had a Congress to keep things somewhat on the rails.

I dont think its as much of institutional lag or just deciding to do it or not. I mean we had a pilot downed, they tracked him, dropped a team in that wiped the floor with his pursuers and got out without issue.
If we can do that, I am sure can drop drones on any missile site that pops its head up or any of Iranian leadership that you know the US knows where they are at. It just depends on if we do it or not.
Now this is just silly.
Tabriz missile base got hit.
