@Avalanche. I had .78 in my physical guage and radar scope had me at.96 so a bit of a difference. Can tell by the ponds up near river road that yall had way more than I did
That's a very nice haul of tomatoes! The 103 quarts of canned snap beans will last you for a while. I have plenty of feet of hose for irrigation but the source I would normally use is a very cooperative neighbor near my plot who was concerned because he is still on well water. He was worried about his water source running dry due to the lack of rain which I totally understand. My neighbor has helped me during past dry spells but this was a different animal. It can be done. Why they make water hoses.
That was yesterdy picking, more to come.
We put away 103 Quarts of green beans 2 weekends ago. You can make as much on a dry year as a wet one. Espeacilly with access to a spigot

Yeah man those few miles made all the difference for us@Avalanche. I had .78 in my physical guage and radar scope had me at.96 so a bit of a difference. Can tell by the ponds up near river road that yall had way more than I did
I noticed this during the morning dog walk. Quite humid out there and no breeze. Felt like being in a swamp.Dews really recovered after mixing stopped, Its thick out there
I guess you could say they had to "flea" the scene. How in this world do you get a flea infestation on a barrier island? Never heard tale of it before.

This heat is worse than our 3 consecutive 100 degree days we just had. Dewpoint stayed in the upper 70s all day yesterdayLooks like 78.9 is going to be the low on the tempest this morning
Yeah we definitely didn't mix yesterday and probably won't today eitherThis heat is worse than our 3 consecutive 100 degree days we just had. Dewpoint stayed in the upper 70s all day yesterday

I’d rather have a stalled out front with frequent storms. This will be the last day of the really obnoxious heat for many of us. I'm happy about the increased rain chances we will be seeing beginning tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to highs dropping back into the eighties later next week courtesy of a strong cold front that will sweep through the east coast. It will feel like Fall compared to what we have been suffering through the past few days.
85/80, on my station right now but you are right I saw a local tv guy say highs only in the mid 90s today. That's not the right messageThese kind of days are always worse than the +100 mixed out days that get all the headlines....by 10-11am its just terrible out.
Heat indexes already over 100 and its not even 10am
The wet bulb temp is more indicative of the danger.85/80, on my station right now but you are right I saw a local tv guy say highs only in the mid 90s today. That's not the right message
HRRR wants to mix out into the 60s and the NAM around 70.Yeah we definitely didn't mix yesterday and probably won't today either
Hopefully soon, I'm at 90/80HRRR wants to mix out into the 60s and the NAM around 70.
Well, I guess storms will fire at some point, but radar is blanked. The Brick KOD must be a thing…
