Does anyone know where to get text data from the RRFS model?
You can access the raw GRIB2 data through AWS buckets or https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov/ then scroll to the bottom for RRFS and you can browse the grib file directory there. You'll need a grib2 viewer to make sense of any of the data though.

FFC forecasts the first 100-degree day for MBY on Monday. Thankful that the microclimate I live in routinely runs 5-6 degrees cooler than nearby observation sites during the heat of the day. I'll need to remind myself not to be aggravated when I'm raking up piles of leaves this fall.

We pulled the plug on Fort Mill, SC. The time has come to move to Brevard on Sep 15 to start the process to Building a new home in Cedar Mountain, NC (Think Ceasars Head to Brevard area)

New home will be at the door step (400 meters?) to DuPont.

Elevation: 3K.

I hope we didn't jinx this winter for all of us. Seeing El Nino rage and all the forecasts has me wondering if it all will come to fruition.

Looking forward to a new line of site for my Tempest and what the new journey will hold.

Let the snow chases begin.

Congrats--beautiful area all around. Was just in Brevard this weekend, and wish I got over there more.

I asked Gemini to do it with more or less the wording above and got this

It's mostly right at a glance until you look further..
My favorite features:

Northern Alabama -- "6-12 inches+ (6-12 inches)"
Off the NC coast -- "Major snowfall accumulaties"
City of Boronk, MS
Columbia replaces orlando
City of Jumotte, SC
Macon replaced by Bilamone
Dothan replaced by Chanaroos
Very small area of "Witer Mix" between New Orleans and Boronk
Botonto, TX

It's good to know I'm not alone.

It almost got the major city spelling right, and then I saw "Hoston".

Generative AI products are just so unsettling in an uncanny way.

In other news, I switched back to Firefox recently and it's fantastic. Moved away a few years ago and lived with Edge. Nice to have a non-chromium based product.
