Misc This Means WAR

The amount of hopioum and copium being displayed in the oil market is scary, and when the curtain finally gets pulled away and oil prices go literally ballistic we all are going to pay for it. How can oil be trading at $76 but gas prices still in the upper $3 range. The manipulation is not even really being hidden or denied at this point.

It sounds like a deal is close but the deal is for Iran to control the Strait but the oil nerds won’t care since they see the word blockade lifted.

For the 100th time I don't know why anybody thinks they know what's going on behind the scenes as far as particulars about a peace deal. We all know by now that none of this stuff that is spouted is true.
I think it's pretty obvious there is no deal and any sounding like we are in works for one right now is likely us trying to make Iran try to roll over for us. Iran wants nothing to do with us and knows we need a deal more than they do and there's nothing we can do to stop them short of drop a nuke. We threw away our credibility and capabilities for a worse place than we were 6 months ago. We need to concede it's a failure and leave.

Some people like to copy and paste everything they see on X. Social media addiction in adults is sad to watch.

Some folks don't get....they believe Trump is some mastermind who is always 4 moves ahead of his enemies etc. The sad thing is that official Iranian tweets and statements carry more weight than anything Trump tweets.

In 6 months of obliterating Iran all we have to show for it is way higher gas prices, climbing inflation, severely depleted weapons systems, Iran controlling and closing a strait that was formally open, the destruction of most of our middle east bases, Iran still possessing uranium and worst of all at least 18 dead US soldiers and thousands of dead civilians in Iraq. We cant handle to much more of this winning.

The point is more that we are weakening our stockpiles....to a dangerously low level. Doing so may embolden others to test the waters, especially with the current administration we have.

Weakened stockpiles, if true absolutely need to addressed, but it can be done so in a non-hypobilic way. For instance, if we are lobbing these at Russia or China, we have much bigger problems.

If they had a supply of the type of munitions they were wanting to develop, then they would’ve had full control of Hormuz. We had to do what we did.

They have that now....they have way more cheap drones than we have ability to stop them over the strait. The expenditure of weapons on our end to stop these drones is why we have shortages....regardless of what Trump says ships transiting the SOH do so at very high risk.

It's not the price of crude apparently. It's more the inability to make gasoline and diesel. The companies that are making 15 BILLION a quarter refuse to build refineries because it's too expensive. So basically they hide behind the expense of a new refinery while making enough every quarter to build a new refinery.

They are controlling the supply so they can demand what they want. It only cost them a ton of political donations to the gop to get what they want.

Just for clarity in a normal day 100-150 ships transit the Strait of Hormuz, so this is saying that in 6 months, 1000 or so ships have made it thru....instead of the normal 15000 or so.

Also Iran still attacking ships on this route....

The Iranians say they are not talking to the US at all, and that no deal is possible as long as the US maintains a blockade. Which was their position from the start of the blockade.

This is a good read and highlights the complexity of the situation in Iran where the snake now has many heads....and why ultimately a lot of these discussions are a waste of time as long as the military is in control of the strait.

Crude oil futures price is literally ignoring this currently as it is near flat down at only ~$76.

Heard there was a landmine explosion that killed 2 IDF soldiers.

Someone showed him the E85 gas prices where it is 85 cents in Indiana
Where in Indiana is it 85 cents a gallon? I read this and searched around and what it said was there was no 85 cent gas and the prices in Indiana for E85 were $2.50-$3.25... I'd like to know where its .85

LOL....I think the point here is that folks are fed up with the high gas prices, this Iran war has cost the average American family thousands in higher gas prices over the last 6 months....

If Trump stops the war and Iran controls the strait, gas prices will double or even triple when they close it. IF you can even find it. Be very careful what you wish for. Now as to what you were saying, yes prices would be much lower if Trump had never attacked Iran, but I'm not sure he had a choice. If Iran ever got a nuclear weapon we would have WW3 and every nuclear weapon on the planet would be used or destroyed.
