Misc This Means WAR



With Operation Freedom now being put on “pause” after the Trump Administration spent the entire day talking about it, one thing has become increasingly clear: Iran KNOWS how politically untenable it now is for Trump to resume military operations, and they’re now increasingly leveraging this. With more and more information coming out that yesterday was not the “first time” an American vessel has been fired on during the ceasefire, Iran is becoming more and more emboldened.Targeting a U.S. vessel? Not serious enough for a response. Launching missiles at the UAE? That’s just a small oopsies. With the U.S. blockade proving to be one of the most strategically disastrous moves we could have made, it is clear that the economic warfare campaign is not succeeding, we do not have the political will to turn back to kinetic strikes (at least not without MORE severe actions from Iran), so… what DO we have now? Unless Trump is able to pull a rabbit out of his hat, the United States has lost this war. Iran did not win, the United States lost, and that difference will go down in history.

So we spent billions of dollars, depleted missile stockpiles, sent the price of gas up more than double for most places, and killed a bunch of people including Americans to get back to basically the Obama deal and now Iran knows just how effective a negotiating tool the strait actually is.

Not good at all. Iran will ignore most of it and will be that much stronger with the sanctions gone and their assets unfrozen.

Nah, it will be forgotten in two months. Both sides make bank which means that nothing will ever change it.

Trump is so desperate for a deal he will sign worse deal than Obama

While no Arab country will trust us ever again to finish the job. Trump has forgotten the 45,000 murdered and the ones still to be murdered.

Trump can do only so much. He’s caught between a rock and a hard place. What reasonable things do you expect him to do to remedy the innocent Iranians’ terrible situation? I’m asking about reasonable solutions, not “blowing them up real good”.

Reasonable would have been(and its far too late now) to stand firm on unconditional surrender and add a blockade to the bombing and not stop until Iran had verified compliance with every term of surrender. Trump's only choice now is to cut and run and claim its a great victory.

100% agree with this. Iran has to like the spot it is in now.
