RDU is +8.8 OOF
Had to hose mine off today. It's black but looked like the yellow submarine, and I couldn't see out the windows.I have a black truck and car and I'm going to see how long I can go before I have to wash them. With no good rain chances in the foreseeable future they might be banana yellow before all is said and done. My wife's car is that new green shade that some of the newer vehicles have these days. She drives the new car and I get the hand me downs. I'll keep plenty of washer fluid in them so at least I can see where I'm going.
Latest AIFS looks like a summer preview after the weekend
Summer-esque. Didn’t hit 90, not as absurdly humid and hot as actual summer.Hey fro, Do you mean another return to summer? It’s already been on/off summer for the last 2+ weeks.

Anyone spitting up pollen balls!. And no rain in sight!!

IMO this is a gorgeous day. Upper 50s but with full spring sun it's the perfect temp. You can do or wear anything outside and still be comfortable.![]()
Same.. also grateful. Spring is my favorite season.Pollen has never bothered me the way it does most people and for that I am grateful View attachment 195259
This will be our biggest weather event this spring and summer. By July and August drought will be making national headlines just like 1986 and 1988.
I'm afraid you are right. We should be catching up before the summer heat and dry sets in.. sinking further into drought instead. A little worried about my well output later this year. This will be our biggest weather event this spring and summer. There is still a chance that things change, but I'm not that hopeful. We needed the change to happen back in January or February. We did get a major change from what would have been an awful drought in 1994 when a fairly dry April and May turned very wet in June and stayed that way right through August, but that's not how things usually go.I'm afraid you are right. Probably gonna flirt with 90 Again before the Garbo weekend Wudge settles in, but lots of torch showing up next week as the upper level ridge moves east, prob another stretch of low-mid 80s View attachment 195261
These springtime heatwaves with a lack of severe giving mid/late spring 2019 vibes, it probably will be a struggle to severe given NW flow isn’t very effective yet and once the ridging moves overhead we deflect everything to the central USAnd not even a decent severe weather threat to go with it!
To kick me while I'm down, some fool county ne of me decided a nice steady wind out of the ne, and no rain in sight, was a great time to do a controlled burn. I already can't breath out there, and now this. It's dangerous for me to go outside. A thick smoke haze over the whole county, until the wind changes direction and other poor lung clot, asthma, copd sufferers will be life threatened by lack of foresight, and giving a f about fellow citizens. I'm p'ed. All could have been avoided if someone in charge out there had weather basics knowledge, and gave a rats a.Pollen has never bothered me the way it does most people and for that I am grateful View attachment 195259

I love heat and even that October heat wave got me a bit… that year was brutal. The May 2019 one was impressive as well. At least the stuff in July had some impressive instability and thunderstorms to go with it View attachment 195262
