Misc This Means WAR

Reportedly these F-22s will go to Ovda Airbase as well. Also hearing F-15s are headed to that airbase as well. Apparently the Ovda airbase had no fighter jets at all until recently. It was reportedly used for pilot training.

I think WW3 will be much more 1984’ish. AI video makes this much more possible.

We are half way there now.

Not saying at all that an attack won't happen, but trusting Chinese satellites to show four of the most advanced aircraft in the world just sitting out in the open is probably akin to trusting the Chinese about a fart to be silent and not deadly in the middle of a packed Walmart.

It will be a crime against humanity to side with the Mullahs again.

There remain mixed feelings about the Shah’s son taking over. But probably almost all Iranians who don’t like the Mullahs (~80% of Iranians) would prefer him over the current regime:

From Wiki:

While some Iranians have voiced support for Pahlavi, his support inside Iran remains unclear. He has been described as a prominent opposition figure during the 2025–2026 Iranian protests, as an influential figure for supporters of the monarchy. However, others have described him as a polarizing figure. Critics have pointed to his reliance on foreign backing and argued that he lacks an organized base of support within Iran.

He should be a transition. He can lead an interim govt until a unified govt can be formed.

Vance makes me want to puke. I heard somewhere Trump is all about "promises made, promises kept" He told the Iranian protestors to keep protesting, help was on the way. It wasnt. Trump said If Iran killed the protestors he would end the regime. Iran proceeded to murder 40,000 of them. Trump didnt do squat. If he does what Obama did and sign a phony deal, i hope he is impeached when dems take the House.

What really frosts me is just a few months ago Israel had the Mullahs on the brink of defeat and elimination. Then Trump stepped in, dropped 4 or 5 bombs and stopped Israel dead in its tracks and gave new life to the Mullahs. Not only that, Trump lied to us saying Iran's nuclear program had been set back decades. Here we are 7 months later saying Iran is once again developing nukes. And guess what? After Iran signs the phony deal less than a year later we will be right back where we are now.

Very, very rarely to i agree with NBC on anything but they are right here

U.S. officials have recently suggested that despite last summer's attack, Iran is in fact very close to having the ability to make nuclear weapons.

The Operation Midnight Hammer was successful, Trump said toward the end of his speech, but he added that despite being "warned to make no future attempts to rebuild" its nuclear weapons program, Tehran had been "starting it all over."

An initial U.S. assessment after the June operation found that only one nuclear enrichment site had been mostly destroyed, while the other two targeted were likely degraded, setting progress back several months.

I just read somewhere that “Israel attacks Iran-just in” on CNN. Can anyone confirm this?

Edit: “Apparent strike in Iran’s capital happened near offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei”

— An apparent strike in Iran’s capital Saturday happened near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

State television acknowledged an explosion in the area of the offices.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the 86-year-old Khamenei had been in his offices at the time. He hasn’t been seen publicly in days as tensions with the United States have grown.

Yes I'm watching it now it sounds like they went for the leader

Also appears to have coordinated with the US. Could this be a warning shot or a preemptive strike?

Trump has issued a taped statement confirming major strikes and talking about the history of Iran since the 70s

Told the people of Iran to basically shelter in place for now but as soon as this is over, take back their country. This is their chance!

Man. I honestly thought all the attention and buildup on Iran was a big bluff to force pressure to get a deal. Almost posted on it yesterday afternoon arguing that point. That wouldn't have aged well.
