The UKMET definitely looks better this run, another one joins the ICON/ECMWF camp... GFS & long range NAM are really getting left in the dust by other NWP models (shocker...)
Lol rip my bad I clicked on the wrong thread, I have multiple windows open for this forum and mixed them up in the process...Why is this in banter lol?
It shouldn’t be. Lol. It’s in the main forum too also. Why is this in banter lol?
Been took care of.. Dont need to open that can of worms. Lol.Yeah, I shouldn't have engaged on that topic at all and certainly not in this forum. Sorry folks.
Came from here.Hey I like that graphic. Did it come from a free source that's free for commerical use by any chance? If not, I will have to make one for the site/shirts or something.
I was hoping for the same today. When you find out the boss isn't in office today

We prob can during off hours but during model runs it'll bog downI saw we had a record number of visitors yesterday. Nice!
Can we get the live thread back on, or is there too much traffic?

Lmao #guilty #noshameLol these Georgia posters. Doom and gloom for days. Now here they are, like ants. I'd be the same way, but it's funny as hell to watch

Lol. I'm not one of the guilty ones luckily. Delta, 1300 and Webb all said the flow would allow more moisture to fill in. The question is why did the models take so long to figure it out?Lol these Georgia posters. Doom and gloom for days. Now here they are, like ants. I'd be the same way, but it's funny as hell to watch

No doubt. It seems that hole quickly got filled once the models caught on.That snow hole over NE GA on multiple models was driving people insane.
I’m guilty but it’s ok. I never get mad over weather but I do get my hopes up all the time. My wife thinks I’m crazy, she says I need to just let it play out. Yea she is the crazy one! HahaThat snow hole over NE GA on multiple models was driving people insane.
All part of the fun. I do find it a lot easier to be ambivalent about a relatively minor event like this than a major event like we had in December. We got shafted on the January ‘16 snow when we were expecting 4-6”. That one was a kick in the gut.I’m guilty but it’s ok. I never get mad over weather but I do get my hopes up all the time. Probably the most guilty one here! #DryAirWillWin LOL. Glad that it is looking way too moist for any dry air. It's funny to watch myself say these things too. In reality, there is a good chance for snow up here, and after I looked at the soundings that confirmed that the dry air arrives after the system passes, and there is about a 12 hour window for snow here per the NAM. I think it's safe to say everyone from the southern part of ATL north gets snow east of the Savannah river.Lol these Georgia posters. Doom and gloom for days. Now here they are, like ants.
