Observations Mauler Totals Thread

2.5 inches as measured, 3" plus, accounting for not clearing the board and wind taking snow off the diving/snowboard. NWS graphics have MBY in the 4-5". It snowed lightly from early morning until late afternoon. I experienced a few periods of light to moderate snowfall, but never managed a period of heavy snowfall; thus, even with temperatures in the low twenties, there was little accumulation on the streets.

Overall, I'm thrilled to have lucked out as areas just to my west got a trace to an inch.

N. Central Forsyth County: 3"
Between here and the eastern lake edge of the county it increases ro 5" at the far east side based on an observation there.
I can verify the 5” as I drove over to the east side of the county yesterday and witnessed it. Over here on the west side of Forsyth County, GA we end up with 3/4”

Leland, NC guessing 6-7 inches blowing and drifting makes measuring impossible.

Few miles from comer, measured 6 to 7 depending on the spot. However I know i lost an inch to melting around midday...I was one of the only locations near 29 to 30 around at that time and the precip got lighter. Plus due to the late start time here it took a while for it to even start to accumulate because of solar insolation. So up to 8 feel from the sky imho but of course that doesn't count lol

5-8 here depending on where you measure- even flat fields and yards have hidden drifts. Wilmington was in a local min which I’m miffed about but still the most snow I’ve seen since 2018. Heaviest snow in Wilmington since 1989. Great stuff.

I just saw that at the back windward corner of my house there is around a 5 by 5 ft section of grass with little to no snow...its nuts how much drifting there is.

This seems off. Not sure there was 4” in southern wake
I didn't get 4-6"...I went to a couple of spots away from the roof and measured right at 2". I am in western Wake on US1/64.

I wouldn't be surprised if NE Wake got 4-6", they were under a heavier band for longer. But S/W wake definitely was lower.

RDU was officially 2.8" so more east makes sense.

4 miles NNW of Asheboro NC or 4 Miles SSW of Randleman NC.

Measured 11" this morning best I could. Wind blew all around and possible some compacting overnight. Could have been right at a foot if done correctly.

Several miles NW of Fountain Inn. Measured between 6 and 7 IMBY out of the wind. There’s an official spotter 5.5” a couple miles to my southwest and a couple miles to my east there are a lot of official 7’s. So I was sort of sandwiched in that transition area between lesser and higher totals.
