Just curious, even though we are still in winter weather mode, will there be a thread for 2018 Severe Weather season, to discuss thoughts, ideas etc?

I don't think I'll be back this time. Regardless of how my state team has done in the NFL, whether good or bad, I've always wavered on the NFL from liking it to not. If the Saints win it all and it looks like they're going to, I seriously may quit the NFL for good. And I LOVE American Football, it's my #1 sport and has been forever, but I just can't take it anymore.

I'll rage quit and not watch at all next week already.

Jeff Fisher was the problem all along in St Louis lmao. It also seems like the game is starting to go back toward you can have a QB that plays a role instead of being "the man".

I'm still not over that. Amazing.
 
NC State may have lost tonight, but......there is something brewing over there. This team looks every bit of the part of a dangerous out. That new coach is going to be a force for ACC opponents in the coming years. My team sucks right now so, guess I'll cheer the pack on.
 
And with this forecast there will be no milk or bread to be found. people lose their minds...just got home from Walmart and the bread is already almost gone

This one is done for SC. Let's get springtime and severe weather in here. I 100% guarantee no one along and south of I-85 in SC will get even 1 flake of snow until sometime in 2019.

That's what's horrible leadership/ mods gets you . Did I mention they have horrible mods. It's sad really cause they still have some great posters. We are lucky to have some of the bright minds that found their way over here as well

So apparently I should expect a solid 2-3 inches simply because there is a SW flow out of the gulf. Models are handling the surface wrong and everyone is going to get snow. Very hepful. I'll buy my sled tomorrow..
 
Checklist when forecasting snow southeast of l85:

1. Cold air source west of the Applachians?
(If yes, then no snow) (if no see #2)
2. Cold air East of the Applachians? (If yes then no snow only ice for you) (if no then it's probably 60 degrees outside in which you also get no snow)
3. Moisture Robbing convection in the gulf? (If yes then cut totals by 95%) (if no see #4)
4. Frozen meteor smoke over Antarctica?
(If yes then you get no snow) (if no then you get no snow)
 
For what its worth, not that it means much, this is going to be the first time since I've been back home that I've been truly jealous about what another area receives even if I do happen to see snow. While I couldn't really mess around with it, the conditions that I saw with 1/28/14 were absolutely surreal with the snow in the teens, the flash freeze on the road due to the cold, etc.

I need to move back to North Georgia but even though I'll most likely be done with college in the spring, I'm not going to feel comfortable enough to do so for at least a year. Not just due to the weather, but for other reasons.
