Honestly I think CLT will underperform now. CLT has been in the bullseye pretty much all day and I don't think it will verify that way. Hope it does verify though.
They are sitting at 6 inches and counting. It’s my house that might can see a flurry at a distance.is that curtains for the triangle? Don’t sit well w me. Want this for everybody
Wait why are you looking at the 12k when we're <24hrs in?I believe I forgot to turn of my snow shield…

Because it’s there.Wait why are you looking at the 12k when we're <24hrs in?
Shows no snow where snow has already fallen
I would have lost that bet. I just knew it was going to fill in. Ok I’m going to go finish melting down now. Have fun!
It is actively snowing in multiple spots near the triangle where it is saying 0 inches for the entire storm.
Is this a gut feeling or based on the models?Honestly I think CLT will underperform now. CLT has been in the bullseye pretty much all day and I don't think it will verify that way. Hope it does verify though.
I am literally watching it snow but you do you, 3KShows no snow where snow has already fallen![]()

Yeah, this really sucks. I thought I had an easy bar or hoping for 2-3” and now there is a legit chance one of us…both of us…get skunked. Oh well…it’s only snow.I would have lost that bet. I just knew it was going to fill in. Ok I’m going to go finish melting down now. Have fun!

But sadly. None doesn’t stick around apparently. Lame.I was just looking and saw some fool reported snow near cumming, ga. And I thought to myself, I wish there was a way to down vote or flag a false report.
And then bam! Somebody plopped a big ‘ole “NONE” on top of it! Whoever you are, I salute you!
Please don’t abuse mping yall.
i believe the problem is called Large Language ModelsWhat the heck is wrong with Apple’s weather app? First, last week it was off by like 8° from every single weather station and METAR in town.
Now, it’s showing a reasonable chance of precip tomorrow but saying it’ll be a “wintry mix”. Not a single model supports this.. every single sounding looks like if we get moisture, we’d get all snow. I’m so confused.

The Apple weather app is atrocious and I highly recommend ignoring. Last Sunday, it had the current temperature 6-9 degrees warmer than what the official reporting stations were observing throughout the Carolinas and northern GA.What the heck is wrong with Apple’s weather app? That’s literally what I said in the post you quotedThe Apple weather app is atrocious and I highly recommend ignoring. Last Sunday, it had the current temperature 6-9 degrees warmer than what the official reporting stations were observing throughout the Carolinas and northern GA.

LLMs have nothing to do with the data provided by WeatherKit (which is the underlying API for the garbage shown in the iOS weather app).i believe the problem is called Large Language Models
The problem is that it’s basically the only source of weather info for like, millions of people. It’s just not right.LLMs have nothing to do with the data provided by WeatherKit (which is the underlying API for the garbage shown in the iOS weather app).
It’s some aggregated junk from various sources. It’s often wrong. And I would hope that everyone knows the app is pretty and has a nice-ish UI. And that’s it. It’s mostly useless for anything specific.
Apple is based in San Jose, CA (Cupertino). They rarely have weather. Please stop asking why apple’s weather app does this and that.
