Misc General Banter Thread

Not really going out on a limb here...but nobody getting 12-18" west of 95...maybe the immediate coast could push a foot if the coastal can hang on and crank. I think we are in the 3-5" at our best....maybe 2-4".

This is what I am really worried about...models slowly leak east until Friday night. But..just gotta hope that literally every ens mean is correct at day 2-3.

Thank God I don't remember that one because I've heard it was a nightmare. I was still young enough then to remember the booms (ex: January 2000) and forget the busts (ex: December 2000).

I'll never forget, Widre kept going on and on about the storm having this problem and that problem, and it ended up dropping the max amount (12 inches) on top of his house, lol

That would *always* happen with Joel! I used to give him so much crap about that.

Yeah, if these Euro runs come in rough I’m logging off until tomorrow. I’ve been getting clowned and fails and dislikes emojis when people don’t get a foot in there area.
Ridiculous, thinking we will get 12+ is fool's gold, it's not the norm in our areas. I just want us to at least hold onto .25+ of qpf for all of us and we should get a decent storm out of it.

Do we know how many times the Carolina's have received over say 5 inches of snow? Very sparse on that for the last 7-8 years, so a 1-3" storm would be amazing.
For Raleigh since 2000

2000, 2002, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2018. So this is the longest stretch in 30 years.

I’d rather it jerk it away quickly. That’s much better for your health then watching orange precip shades turn into light greens slowly over the course of 48 hours
