That PV pressing south and west closed off now through 39 trying to go to neutral...hmmmm

For what it's worth, the H5 changes this time have so far led to no go for even the mid south.

Looking drier than 18z so far

Looks more moist through 48hrs. Flow is going to be more out of the Gulf too.
Got more moisture in Texas.

Yes the nam did really good with this last storm Brick. It especially did good the day of and it was the only model showing my area getting 3 plus inches of snow.

Looks like the band is forming now on the surface...on H5 it looked like some energy was coming up from the gulf I believe.

It looks like the front has slowed down some. Maybe that will allow a little more moisture to get pumped into it.

Maybe a good thing that this is a slower situation...taking steps toward the Euro before 12z today which was slower.

Yup...I thought the same as well. Definitely looks like the whole system is slower. Next few frames will be interesting.
Yes. Slower the better. Maybe even allowing it to form a low in the gulf. Might be wishful thinking on my part.

Appears trough developing at the lower levels jet should pull it E at least some or squash it into the GOM

Not a bad run in my opinion!
North Alabama till about i20/59 does good on this run. Also good for nw Georgia so far.

Slower is good if you’re taking about the energy hanging back west longer, but eventually it needs to dig. If it’s not digging, it won’t matter
