CMC snows for 48 straight hours in central NC
With a strong high pressure in place north of the storm, the northwest trend will not be in effect as much it was with today's event due to suppression if I am not mistaken.

It ices for 48 hours in sc, ga and alabama
the canadian is notorious for showing large ice/sleet storms that do not materialize
but if taken verbatim, i think that would consolidate into one bigger storm than the two back to back in quick succession like that
