The GFS is on average going to be more accurate now than it was yesterday, even if it may not be best model at this point. The globals don’t get worse as the storm gets closer.

what kind of mental issue causes someone to consistently come into a thread when their area was a jackpot zone only to see absolutely zilch to let everyone else know that the models are all wrong on ptype for their yards

Win or Lose, I’m thankful for the models for keeping things interesting instead of just trending to a straight coastal shot like the original AI/weathernext maps and staying there. It was looking bleak the other day, but at least now it’s still fun to watch, regardless of who wins out (if anyone).

The Jan 28-29 storm is only for Raliegh and east now on the GFS. The rest of this southeast is going to be dry.
