I'm off tomorrow. Might just stay up and ride up NC 181 to Jonas Ridge NC 3700ft up 25 minute drive. Gotta do what you gotta do. Addiction is a terrible thing!!! Hopefully the wife doesn't hear the car lol Good thing 181 has no signal!
Back to sleet, temp has plummeted to 40

Hey I drove 70 miles roundtrip for a dusting this morning at 530am
I can't say anything

Yeah the band was only like 40 miles wide here so it wasn't even a good setup but whatever. I refuse to believe we won't get a better one
There was like no precip outside of that band. It was odd. Dry roads in the city after all the fears about an icy commute again(second time this week)

Eastern facing slopes will always do better in a CAD type setup. Banner elk does better in Nw flow snow.
