Misc General Banter Thread

Apparently, Hardee's is limiting certain orders of tenders every tuesday due to HIGH demand.
From: Tender Bender Accountability Office

To: Hardee's Staff

Greetings,

It has come to our attention that the Tender Bender Member Offer (BOGO Free Tenders every Tuesday) has created some worldwide buzz on social media, and guests are wondering what to expect when going on a Tender Bender.

Should someone direct a question your way, please provide these approved recommendations:

1. Tender Bender with a Friender

It is often advised that eating Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders is more fun with a friend. If they sign up for My Rewards™ they will also have the Offer in their Hardee's App right away.

2. Get Lost in the Sauce

Though the Chick'n Dippin' Sauce is an obvious choice, please advise guests they may also choose from Buffalo, Ranch, Honey Mustard, and BBQ. They may try more than one.

3. Save Room for Sides

Fries, Cinnamon 'N' Raisin Biscuits, and Apple Turnovers are ideal Tender Bender accompaniments. Ordering multiple sides on a Tender Bender is approved and encouraged.

4. Balance Your Bender

If Tenders are hitting too good, a milkshake (chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry) provides the perfect counterbalance to all that crispy, savory goodness.

5. Timing is Everything

Peak Tender Bender hours are after 11AM. Plan accordingly for optimal Goodness.

Next scheduled Tender Bender is today, November 18, 2025.
jk, its an ad that looks like an important message. even gmail marked this as important. 🙄

The poster 1300m won't be returning. The forum isn't looking for a professional meteorologist who can accurately forecast (speaking of cowards, who was too scared to enter the snowfall contest and take me on like a man last winter?), that's why they keep you around, to provide inaccurate long range hopium. Keep up the good work from all the way out in NM 🤣.
who is @1300m ??

having reconstructive surgery on an ankle ligament tomorrow. cast on until christmas. sorry folks rooting for a warm dec so i can go outside some and i don't go crazy inside

Can’t find hurricane thread, but this has been verified! Highest wind ever measured in a hurricane! IMG_3297.png

^ I do understand the credibility of the field argument (talking about legit and professional meteorologists) and the fact that CJ is a pro met with a large following. But social media is just the world we live in now. For better or worse, we're all riding that tide now (whether we want to or not and whether we choose to participate or not) and have to figure out how to sink or swim, rather than fight so hard against it. The professional field is, unfortunately, going to have to figure out how to turn lemons into lemonade and turn some of this stuff into an advantage, rather than rail against it constantly.

I think we're going look back on this period one day and realize how bad social media impacted our culture. But for now, we have to evolve with it, unfortunately.
It’s a valid point, but people are just so stupid and believe anything they see. It’s only gotten worse with AI. I always appreciated John C. from wyff, and I’ve only seen CJ a handful of times. He comes off pretty damn douchy, but I have no judgment on whether he is any good or not. I can only assume he is if he took John’s place.

Oh y'all should read what Gulf Coast Severe weather and tropics is ranting about... Apparently he got a nasty email from a well known met in Huntsville Alabama who's been around as long as I remember and just assumes the dude wrote it like come on like he cares about some kid 😂 he really thinks very highly of himself

Like you know how many fake pages I've seen of well known people before

CJ was supposed to post his winter forecast yesterday. Wonder if he didn’t because of the heat he was getting, or because everything looks bleak now and he had to redo it.

I realize the southeast is warmer than most places but does it always have to be above normal ? It just seems so much easier to get an extended period of above normal temps than it is to have a long period of below normal temps.

Well considering we're still above normal for the next week yeah...

Nothing is gonna happen quickly with that
