Yeah it definitely picked up overnight but yesterday was fairly tame. Had one good gust hit the house sometime this morning that woke me up.

Gotta watch that big blob of heavy rain to see if it tries to pivot its way up here or if it rains itself out over the SC coast

Yeah I’d like to get in on that parked blob that Myrtle and Murrells have had going on.

Just eclipsed 4”. 3” of that has come since 6am. This band over Horry and Columbus counties is intense.

Radar almost looks like a secondary low swirl is coming onshore right around the state line.

I picked up .71 inches of rain as of around noon today and I think that might be about all I'm going to see from this system. I was hoping for at least an inch but I will take what I can get. At least this will revive the lawn and may slow down the early loss of leaves on the trees around my yard.

2.97 here in Mount Pleasant since Friday. It's been raining constantly with hardly any breaks I'm surprised it's that low.

Winds have picked up here over the last 2 hours. Pretty steady hitting mid 30s or more on gusts. Helps that I'm in the open too.

Maybe I will end up getting that inch of rain I was looking for. Another band of showers is pivoting through the area I live in and the rain is coming down moderately again.
