Just think guys la Niña fall means we copy/paste today until mid November
Will it even qualify as a la nina fall into Dec? I read weak sauce forecasted at best.

I'm in your camp though, we will be dry bones through Turkey day. This pattern / climo & time of year say we headed for 2 months of low DP's which should yield Indian summer afternoons and cool nights.

Yep 2001 and 2016 again. Hopefully wildfires won't be too bad in the mountains.

The one month I want it to be warmer than normal, September and it’s cold, 😂 . Hopefully it pulls a winter and turns warmer. Beach trip upcoming as I always do in mid September due to cheaper price, less crowded and beautiful weather. I’m starting to think the water may be a bit chilly though this year. Either way it’ll probably be really nice outside the water.

Mid to late September is absolutely the best time of the year to go to the beach. When I was growing up, my family always went down for a weekend then every year.

The trick is getting the kids out of school, and dodging hurricanes. It was easier when the kids were younger, but with homework, school starting earlier, it’s a bit harder as teachers give side eye. But thats like the only week they miss, so they’re fine, lol. But I agree, it’s just too good not to do.

I have to say this may be the most impressive fake fall we've ever had 🤣 🤣 🤣

I can't find many September and Octobers we never hit 90. I just don't believe it won't get hot again at some point
After all the years we suffered through heat into October I'm not gonna complain if it doesn't hit 90 again.

That's going to feel nice. Not as nice here as up in the Midwest, but still. I'm tired of having to work into late September to feel a hint of fall. At least it's different this year.

Yep, I'm sure I'll jink us now, but I think Fall has started (early). Just looked at the CFS and it shows our current cool/dry weather going throughout September.

Trust me. We pay for it with mild and warmer than average winter this season

I wonder if any places up north will see an early first snow out of this "cold" snap. Probably limited to Canada but I bet we're gonna hear about somewhere in the UP of Michigan getting like snow flurries or something.

When I lived in the UP back in the 80’s, we usually had snow by mid October.

It is still summer right?

I bet there aren't many years we've had a stretch like this... The warmest high since Monday is 81 degrees and at one point a couple days ago I saw an 88 Tuesday

The entire Dallas TV 10 day forecast I just saw had no 90s like what

Yeah I will say if anyone is trying to draw conclusions about winter because summer may have ended early don't bother... I already tried 😂 it's all over the place
If you just go by the coming Nina, it ain't pretty. But, we don't live in a vacuum. So there is hope.

I'll still be sweating. Heck my forecast temp for Thursday has gone up to 88 and 89 next Friday ! Even 89 next Saturday !
Yeah, not really any cool down coming this way, nor rain anymore. No warm up either though, carbon copy today the next ten days or so.
