These consecutive below freezing nights are just what the doctor ordered to keep the leaf out in check and on regular schedule. I enjoy the peaches, apples and strawberries for that matter to much. I usually notice Bradford pears start coming out mid March. So far so good as they look like nada burgers so far as of feb 21

26.2. One peach was done blooming but the other wasn't so we'll see. The apples still haven't budded out so we have hope there. I'm glad I didn't plant my potatoes yet.

Here it is, longest stretch without measurable snowfall for AVL, along with GSP and CLT! And they're going to be adding at least 270 more days to these.
I came real close but I lost most of mine last year so it was fresh on my mind.
Got down to 31 this morning.
31.8 but there didn't seem to be much frost. We had a slight breeze all night.

33.8 lowest windchill was 21
