China|Taiwan conflict

I don't think China can take over Taiwan (at least right now). That island is extremely mountainous with the Taiwan army dug in strongly up and down those slopes. China could bomb the country to rubble, but they would lose solders faster than they could land them on the beaches. I also believe Taiwan would fight as hard (or harder) than the Ukrainians.
